Bradenton the Beautiful

“Somehow this area survived the waves of development that washed away most of Old Florida, and seems to still float in a time when people didn’t just live, but flourished, before air conditioning, theme parks, fantasy leagues, Gangnam Style, and Twitter”, that is how Richard Bangs describes our area in his newest blog article in theHuffington Post.

In his recent travel post he writes about how he discovered famous area attractions like the Bradenton Riverwalk, South Florida Museum, the Robinsons Preserve and Anna Maria Island, as well as less known attractions like TreeUmph! in East Bradenton, a tree top adventure course, where adventurers can make their way along a self-guided adventure tour through the treetops over wobbly bridges, hanging nets, bungee swings, a 650-foot-long zip line and other fun stuff.
